HEy there all.......

I just got done ordering my bees for the spring.  As this is my first time I hope I did good.

I ordered fro R. Weaver Apiaries. Getting 2 packages of their All-American Italians. Does that sound wierd to anyone else Huh

I will be ordering my starter kit and misc. equipment later in the month.

This is gonna be alot of work, but alot of fun too.

Glad to be joining the ranks of the beekeepers.

As always, any and ALL coments and acvise is appreciated.

>All-American Italians

Sorry, I've bought them off and on for the last 33 years, so I didn't even think about it being wierd...

But I also know a lot of American Italians who think they are "all American" too.

  YOU GO MGates!!!
You're doing just like I did last spring! I got mine from Rweaver(I may have told you that already) last April!
Now, listening to you and steve, I have the urge to get a couple more queens and packages from Rweaver again!! I better not though. C.E. here at the base has told me that they'd call me before they kill off any swarms to see if I want them! If I get more package bees I'll have to build more boxes. More boxes = more $$$. I'm all for making boxes and all but my wife might get mad if I'm spending more on bees than she is on art supplies.
The wait for the call from the post office almost drove me nuts!(Especially the last 2 weeks wait)
I was asking everybody at work if I'd had any calls!! Then I'd come home and check the answering machine for calls..Then I'd call the post office..Then I'd be calling Weaver.
This is what you're gonna be doing too I bet!!
 Have a BLAST!!!
your friend,
john
