Curious what everyone got for Christmas!  Get any cool beekeeping stuff?
My folks bought me a Mannlake 3 frame extractor!!!!!!  Had to brag.
My wife got me a complete home brewing setup and all the supplies to make my first batch of mead (including honey from the brewing company to practice on so I don't screw up our honey).
Got a copy of the book, "Letters from the Hive" which looks really neat and a copy of "The Dangerous Book for Boys" which really brings back some great memories.
Also got a Heil Proset Plus headset for my HF Ham radio station.
I think I made out like a bandit!  Whooo Hooo!!!

I got a TomTom GPS form my son and lots of other good loot.

The best gift was watching my grandchildren open their gifts and helping them get set up. Priceless!!

Got two turntables and a microphone... grin My honey got me a little sign that reads fresh honey, that you hang on the wall. Good presentation thingy. A lamp, a few shirts, a few re-gifters, but not bad, had a great Christmas, can't complain. Steve, my tomtom has proven to be invaluable.

I got the Kitchenaid mixer I've wanted for years.  My hands are my weak spot, the arthritis is getting to them, and I bake a lot, so this will save the aches that come with baking things like bread and Christmas cookies.

Annette, I've seen pictures of them, can't place where right now, but they I believe go under the hive with a handle sticking out both sides. They require two people to lift.

Sincerely, JP

Ken, one lucky dude, that hivelifter looks cool, and look at the white hive and the guys with the white clean suite and the other dude, do they come with the hive lifter, hee, hee, grin

Nice to see that everyone got wonderful stuff they wanted/needed.  Ann, you will love your KitchenAid, it will save you so much pain by doing the work for you.  Happy day.

I got a mini fridge for our bedroom, it is good it has a freezer and crisper and lots of place to store stuff that I don't want kids to eat all up.  We had a real small one, but it just didn't hold enough, hee, hee.   Also got a water barometer, it is cool, hard to describe, a wall plaque of the bombus ferviduz (sp), kind of bronzey looking and a bumblee bee light, where the bum lights up, cool, bronzey looking too, a yoga mat, and a bunch of little things.

Our fridge packed it in last week so we had to go and buy a new one.  Decided to go stainless steel, all our other appliances are white.  Let me tell you one thing, stainless steel looks horrible (in my eyes) when it has to match up with white.  So the next thing was we decided to replace all the appliances with stainless steel (the pay forever plan).  So that was my Husband's and my gifts for the next 6 years (hee, hee).  They were all installed before company on Christmas day, that was a mess and a half, eeks!!!!

A wonderful celebration with lots and lots of family, another wonderful gift, better than all the rest.  Beautiful and wonderful day, Cindi

I got a few things for Christmas.  Most not worth mentioning.  The best part was having 5 or 6 grandchildren here to open a mountain of presents.  1/2 the livingroom was stacked almost to the ceiling with presents, 90% of which were for the grandkids.  I got a hand cross-stitched framed picture of a raccoon (I collect raccoon nick-nacks because I use to have one for a pet) from my daughter Jodi, from her fiance I got a new vanity for the bathroom (he's a cabinet maker by trade).

For my wife, Who claimed she already had everything she ever wanted, I got 3 perfectly useless but entertaining gifts.  A weather station, bird feeders and humming bird feeders.  I've now turned her kitchen window into a ongoing scene of wildlife and current weather information.
