we got the same storm, only it was mid-thirties and miserable weather as a result. The wind hasn't stopped yet either.

in 2006 we didn't get one drop of rain. literally. This year we have stayed above the yearly average. Right now we are over five inches over normal.

We have had more snow this December than we had all year last year.  Tomorrow it's supposed to rain buckets.  I really wanted the snow to last through Christmas  :'(

I heard today that the long range forecast for Georgia will be worsening of the drought for next summer due to a dryer than normal winter. Wish we could get a few of those buckets Ann.

I'd send some down to you, Steve, if I could.  We went through a very minor (compared to yours!!) drought this summer where it didn't rain from the beginning of July til almost mid-September.  It was awful, but I know, not as bad as for you guys.  Maybe they'll be wrong (they have been before, especially with long range stuff).  We'll keep our fingers crossed for you!
