http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/11/16/europe/EU-GEN-Finland-Alcohol-Strike.php

Finland has had a strike that shutdown most of the liquor stores for the entire nation. I think they may have opened back up today. But this would be a major crisis. 3-4 days no booze.

Apparently most of the liquor stores are run buy a company called Alko. The workers went on strike closing down most of the stores. I suspect if the bacon factory had gone on strike the nation would have come to a complete stop.

Maybe we should prepare an emergency care package of good vodka to send to him.  Smiley

Finsky, tell us how you are doing.

Sincerely,
Brendhan

Finsky, hee, hee, hee.  What is the common drink that you like?  Seems I recall you have a particular one that you like, but I can't remember it.  My Finnish Sister-in-law likes to drink a Vodka called "Finlandia", that is her special drink  Smiley Wink  Beautiful day, beautiful life, beautiful health.  Cindi

Since Vodka is my prefered hard liquor. I will have to see if they sell this in the states. I tend to prefer Belevedre or Chopin.

I will definitely look for it on my next run to the liquor store. which never go on strike in the states.

Very strange  mixture,  Cindy : love all vodkas and have beautiful life
In reality it is beautiful hell. Sorry my sense of reality.
In Russian men are dying at the age of 45. They love so much vodka.
I do not know how Latvia is managing, but in picture it seems bad

Consumption, included children and old people. It is said that 10% drink 90% of alcohol.
Look later picture. USA has about 10 litre per capita.

Finsky, yes, love all vodkas and have a beautiful life.  Yes, all things in moderation.  If Russian men are dying at the age of 45, then they have loved vodka too much, they should have not drank so much, it is good to love these drinks, but we must take care of the amount that we love and drink.  Beautiful life, happy life.  Cindi
