Finding local beekeeping organizations

does anybody know a web site to find beekeepers in the local area?

or how do you find local organizations close to me?

I am just getting started out here and need to ask questions, of other seasoned beekeepers in my area.
honey flow times, weather changes and what to do.

does any of you have any ideas or suggestions?

When I had my first dealings with honey bees I used a search engine (google I believe) and typed in Michigan bee keepers and got a good list of state clubs by regions along some smaller local village,town and city clubs.
