Bob called me this afternoon and said he had one of his hives swarm today and they are again back in a box. Doesn't know which of his hives they came from but saw them from afar as a milling mass of bees. They lit and clustered in one of the small trees he has planted near his yard and broke it in half.
Just picked the part of the tree they were on and sat it on top of the deep with drawn comb sprayed with honey, about an hour latter they were resting well at the new location in his bee yard.
He though it might have happened because he pulled a honey super off with out replaceing it.
