The Omnivore's Dilemma was a wonderful book, it made a huge impression on me and I highly recommend it for anyone who is exploring their eating habits or how we get our food. Now Michael Pollan has written a new book,
In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto. I am looking forward to another great read from him.
A third book (I have it upstairs, it's next on my list) about our food is
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life by Barbara Kingsolver. I'll let you all know what I think of it when I finish it, but it's on the same line, thinking about where and how we get our food and how it's being corrupted along the way by big agribusiness (mind you, this included the 'organic food industry').
