It's Dreamworks Pixar so the animation looks good. Despite the fact that there are male worker bees.

In Hollywood that's called reality.  Elsewhere it's called literary license.

He even spent time with a French beekeeper, according to the movie official site, and he still didn't get it that all the bees in the hive that are working are female - apparently there are the "Pollen Jocks" male bees who gather pollen, and couples of bees in the hive (ma and pa) - I mean really.  Jerry Seinfeld is one of the world's funniest humans but I wish he had used this opportunity not to perpetuate sexism in the bee world!!!

and they have four legs, and they look like yellow jackets...

Of course they messed up the whole matriarchal sorority society of bees.  They're trying to make them four legged yellow humans.  Has anyone ever actually seen an actual yellow bee?  I thought not.  Looks like I will continue to get calls about bees that are really yellow jackets for some time to come...
