I have two 1x11's. I dont know how they wound up being 11's. I was thinking of using them as the end caps for the TBH. I was thinking of making the bottom 6 inches wide. With the top remaining 11 inches. I was also thinking of making them 15 inches tall.

Does this sound usable or is my thinking off on this. I am ready to cut but I would like to hear from more experianced TBHers.

most U.S standard boards that are 1x12 end up about 3/4 x 11 1/4 anyway.

I make my tbh's with a  1x 8 for the floor and two 1 x 12's as the sides.  48" long.  I use 1 x 12 x 16 for the ends.

That's just me though.
