I live in western North Carolina and I was wondering how much sourwood do you need around to expect any stores from it? Its started blooming and I have seen maybe 10 sourwood within a half mile of my bees. That's only what I can see from the road. I really didn't see any flow last year , but last year was very dry. This year we have plenty of rain the people who really target sourwood are more optimistic for this season.
