I'm gonna say 18 so far. I call a swarm anything I can shake in a box, even though today's flew in on Saturday, I had to remove bricks to get to them, so I'm calling it a cut out.
Btw, I had two swarm calls today I couldn't get to, one on a tree, I'll ivestigate that tomorrow. The other one was weird. This guy wet them and bagged them, then drove them about 6 miles down the road and let them go.

How do you count swarms? If I stay on the phone for 45 minutes with a guy 1200 miles away, coaching him through a swarm catch, do I count that as one?
If I put one in a box, wait 5 minutes, watch a mass exodus and they are gone, do I count that one?
If I go to a beek's house and shake one in his box that came from one of his hives, do I count it?
Somewhere between 6 and 12, depending on how you count.

I've actually gone to get 14. I've given away about 12 that I couldn't get to due to distance or lack of time. It's been a good year so far.

Because of the wreck I was in last Thursday and complications arriving from dealing with the other person's insurance company, etc... I missed out on about 4-5 more! Two were described to be as big as basketballs! Oh well, will just get them later on as cut outs! ...JP

a beautiful young lady (18) drove out in front of me, trying to make a left turn, was sort of comitted to going but didn't have to (imo) and rather then wait, she decided to try and zoom across from a standstill, while I was going 40 mph, bang zoom right in her passenger rear door, after skidding 50'!
