I've get my nucs next week from fatbeeman and will be transferring them to my TTBH. I'm curious if there is a right way to do this. I've heard to always put the frames in in the same order they are in the nuc. But, I wanted to put them in and use them as guides for my top bars. I was going to take frames 1,2,3,4,5 and put them in this order:

1--bar--2--bar--3--bar--4--bar--5--bars->>>>

Is this a good plan?

Also, what is the best time of day to transfer the nuc? Anything else I need to think about?

Thanks!

I built a Tanzanian TBH that is the same dimensions as a medium hive body. The nuc is a medium as well. I'm just curious about moving the best way to move it over and set it up.

I would put all of them together at first and then feed bars between as they can fill the space with festooning bees and draw the comb.
